You won’t want to miss the exhibit at Casa de la Guerra featuring “Telling Stories of Mexican California: Real Life & Myth Making,” on display from June 26-August 31, 2025. Organized by the California Historical Society, this exhibit looks at nineteenth-century Mexican-American individuals and families who told their stories yet some of their early narratives helped create an enduring California mythos and stories that were ignored. Casa de la Guerra is located at 15 E. De La Guerra St, Santa Barbara, CA (https://www.sbthp.org/casadelaguerra).
