On Saturday, October 16, 2026, Presidio San Agustin’s Salon & Saloon program presents “Story of the Anza Trail” by Bill Singleton. Join artist Bill Singleton, whose art graces Tucson’s Presidio, Tubac’s Presidio, and the Tucson train station, as he tells the story of the Anza Trail through his art. Commissioned by the National Park Service, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and Pima County, he created 11 historic illustrations of the 1775–1776 Anza Expedition for interpretive signs placed along the modern route. This presentation will be held from 2:00-3:30 pm, at Barrio Brewing located at 800 E. 16th St. in Tucson, with entry fee of $7 for members, $10 for general public, or $10 at the door.
