The California Missions Foundation (CMF) is collaborating with each of the California missions to offer on-site experiences that include tours with behind-the-scenes and informative perspectives of the California missions. The first on-site tour will begin with “A Day in San Luis Obispo,” to be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022, beginning with a tour of La Loma Adobe with Robert Vessely, Structural Engineer. There will also be a walking tour of Mission San Luis Obispo with Dr. Daniel Krieger, followed by a no-host social at Luna Red Restaurant (adjacent to the mission). The next day, Sunday, August 28, people have the option to attend Mass, a no-host BBQ lunch, and a tour at Asistencia Rancho Santa Margarita by Dr. Robert Hoover, archaeologist.
