The Botanical Blacksmiths Exhibit is open from now until April 12, 2024 at the Tubac Presidio. There will also be a free talk and demonstration on February 24 at 2:00 pm, featuring what life was like for a colonial blacksmith at the Presidio as well as a brief look at the tools and techniques a colonial blacksmith would have used. You will see how things have changed for blacksmiths from the colonial period to the present day leading to the sculptures currently on display on the Presidio grounds. Artwork is available for sale and can be taken at the time of purchase. A portion of the sales price goes towards supporting the Tubac Presidio.
