The Terra 2021 – 13th World Congress on Earthen Architectural Heritage: Looking Back, Moving Forward – Advances in Conservation will be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico June 8-11, 2021. This world congress is being co-organized by the National Park Service’s Vanishing Treasures Program, the Getty Conservation Institute, and the University of Pennsylvania Stuart Weitzman School of Design, under the aegis of ICOMOS International Scientific Committee on the Conservation of Earthen Architectural Heritage. The first announcement and call for abstracts can be found on the Terra 2021 website. Abstracts are due on March 1st, 2020.

Vanishing Treasures supports the proactive preservation of traditionally-built architecture in the western United States, Alaska and the Pacific Islands; facilitates the perpetuation of traditional skills through staff-, youth-, and partner-focused training; and promotes connections between culturally associated communities and places of their heritage.
