Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation’s 200th Anniversary of the San Ignacio de la Canoa Land Grant Lecture Series presents “Spanish/Mexican Land Grants in what is now Southern Arizona” by ethnohistorian Tom Sheridan. On Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., join Tom Sheridan, author of Arizona: A History and Landscapes of Fraud: Mission Tumacacori, the Baca Float, and the Betrayal of the O’odham, for an overview of ranching areas in the San Bernardino, Babacomari, and San Rafael valleys, and along the Santa Cruz River and Arivaca Creek. This program is an indoor lecture. Face masks are mandatory for everyone, regardless of vaccination status.
