On December 20, 2018, join Old Pueblo Archaeology Center for their “Third Thursday Food for Thought” presentation “300 Years After His Death Father Kino’s Missions Live On,” which will be held at Picture Rocks Redemptorist Renewal Center (PRRRC). Father Greg Adolf will discuss the impact Jesuit missionary Eusebio Francisco Kino had on Arizona and Sonora, beginning in 1687 until his death in 1711. At 5:00 pm, archaeologist Allen Dart will lead a brief tour of the Picture Rock Petroglyphs. This will be followed by dinner at 6:00 pm in the PRRRC Dining Hall, after which Fr. Greg will give the evening’s feature presentation. Dinner cost is $16. There is no charge for the petroglyphs tour or presentation but reservations for each are required by 5:00 pm, Dec. 18.
