University of New Mexico’s Musicology Colloquium presents “Gender, Sexuality, Race and Early Music in New Spain” by Dr. Cesar D. Favila, on Thursday, October 19, 2023 from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Dr. Favila, Assistant Professor of Musicology at UCLA, will address the musical lives of New Spain’s nuns during 17th and 18th centuries.
