Friends of Tucson’s Birthplace (FOTB) invites you to the 4th Annual San Ysidro Festival on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:00 am to 11:30 am at Tucson’s Mission Garden. This traditional Tucson farmer’s festival will include music, dancing, blessings, ceremonial wheat harvesting, threshing, and winnowing, tasting of pozole de trigo, and a presentation by SMRC’s own Father Greg Adolf who will talk about Father Eusebio Francisco Kino and his contributions in the Pimeria Alta. The event begins with a procession from the future Tucson Origins Heritage Park to Mission Garden. Mission Garden is located at 946 W. Mission Lane, Tucson.
